The Sweet Spot Bakery

I came across The Sweet Spot Bakery while they were just getting ready to open and had been anticipating it for some time. The owner, Amy Hafele, started baking at home and with 5 kids, she was baking a lot! After outgrowing her kitchen, she opened this location in Alliance Town Center in North Fort Worth.

When talking with Amy, I found out that she not only bakes cupcakes, but truly custom cakes and fried pies!

The first thing you'll notice is the extreme number of cupcakes that you can get @ The Sweet Spot! Over 30-40 flavors , 5-6 chosen everyday & all with their own unique names. My husband had the cherry vanilla and I had the "Johnny Cash" which is chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream & sprinkles. Amy then mentioned their store specialty has been a creation they call the "Shama Lama Ding Dong"... The "Shama Lama Ding Dong" is her version of the kids treat the "Ding Dong". Slices of chocolate cake are layered with frosting and then the entire thing is covered in chocolate! Wow!

A small portion of their menu board.

A very custom cake for a customer.

Just a small sample.
